As Director of Hydra Capital, Kai Golden is responsible for connecting GPU deployments with investors across the capital stack. Kai previously served as an associate at Variant Investments, a $3 billion private credit fund, where he invested in asset-backed credit across litigation finance, AI infrastructure, hospitality, and fintech. Prior to that, Kai co-founded Belay, a fintech focused on income stability within the gig economy. In his free time, Kai enjoys producing music and practicing Muay Thai in Miami. Kai holds a BA in International Relations and Economics from Tulane University.
